Solar lanterns

Solar Powered lanterns and lighting systems are perfect for brightening remote rural areas, especially in places where there is no grid power.

The pioneering project was at Leh high on top of the Himalaya Mountains . Here, at altitude of 10,000 feet, TATA BP Solar executed one of the largest solar projects in the country, installing 8700 Home Lighting Systems and didtributing over 6000 Solar Lanterns. Bringing light to people who have never known electricity, extending working and study hours and helping build brighter future.
